DC Universe Online – Cinematic Trailer

Great trailer for DC Universe Online. This game has already been released but I haven’t played it. I’m not a gamer really, but I do enjoy a good comic book movie. This little trailer made me go ‘Wheeee!’ – so many cool superhero moments. It’s just a shame that a DC movie will more than likely be a bit of a dud. Marvel get it right almost consistently, but DC seem to struggle (with the exception of a certain trilogy by Christopher Nolan). I hope Man of Steel in 2013 shakes this off, as I am giddy for a new take on Superman.

Life of Pi Official International Trailer

The new film from Ang Lee. Going by the trailer, this could be a terrific film. I haven’t read the book (yet) but it looks to be one of the inspiring, heart-warming movies – with a bloody great big tiger in a boat!

I Would DEFINITELY Watch This!

This fan-made trailer is one of the best I have ever seen. Clearly a lot of work has gone into this, and although doubtful this will ever come to fruition, I would totally watch this work of genius!

Plus it comes with one of the best taglines I have ever heard: “Phoning home won’t be so easy… because this time, it’s off the hook!”

Love – Trailer

This film looks like it might be amazing!

As trailers go, this left me feeling optimistic and enthralled… I hope the film lives up to its  promise.

Battle: Los Angeles

The trailers so far for this sure to be blockbuster have been slowly building momentum, teasing more and more of the good stuff over the past few months. This last trailer seems to indicate a nice mix of Cloverfield, Aliens and District 9. All these should bring to the mix a great disaster, alien, popcorn flick, although I’m hoping for a stand out, new ground flick nonetheless with a touch of its own something to make it stand out.

Inception Trailer

I loved Inception and downloaded the soundtrack immediately after watching it at the cinema. I like a lot of Hans Zimmer’s soundtrack work, from Gladiator to Batman Begins/Dark Knight. It might be said the music in the trailer for Inception is rather dramatic and horn-of-plenty but it works well. Love it! This little trailer re-dub works perfectly and enhances the greatness/epic-feel. I am jesting, but it’s fun nonetheless and well done to whoever made it for the lip-synching and hilarious musical accompaniment. Additionally, Inception is an awesome film and should most definitely be viewed at the cinema if you get the chance. Go…now!

You Again?!

It’s back…to take more of your hard-earned bread! If it didn’t quite make enough already at the box-office, Avatar is back again in the UK to be re-released at selected cinemas in a bonus Special Edition. Before you get too excited, untwist those panties, this special edition contains a whopping 8 minutes of extra footage. Was it not long enough? Now don’t get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoyed the original edit, but is this not a blatant case of milking? What could be in those extra 8 minutes? What does it take 8 minutes to do? Cue Jake flying a Mountain Banshee to the local Lidl, or Neytiri touching up her blue Max Factor? The last time I went to the flicks, a standard ticket set me back £13 for a two and a half hour movie (Inception – it was brilliant though). At that rate those extra 8 minutes are setting me back £1.63 a minute. My God I sound like a miser – Avatar: Special Edition I wish you every success!
